I had a large blanket that was in line for the wash anyway, so we decided to have an indoor picnic:
I was seriously amazed at how excited he was to eat lunch!
About an hour later (really), I still couldn't get them off. The picnic blanket hosted the wrestling match, the number game, and then turned into a movie theater. It kept them entertained for the entire afternoon.
Me and Brandon had an indoor picnic once and I think I had almost as much fun as your kids! It really is a great idea.
